ACEP鈥檚 research explained in 'nutshells'

Alaska Center for Energy and Power researchers are using to tell, in a nutshell, about their work and why it is important to Alaska and places beyond.
Through the videos, researchers share their activities without requiring viewers to struggle through scientific publications.
ACEP student researcher Grace Bolt proposed the series. 鈥淚 wanted a way to communicate the important but complex research that ACEP conducts every day,鈥 Bolt said.
In the first feature, ACEP's Jeremy VanderMeer talks about helping to create an open-source computer model to investigate energy storage. .
The one-minute videos are edited by Amanda Byrd, ACEP鈥檚 chief storyteller. ACEP will continue to add research stories to the collection.
