Alaska EPSCoR opens grant application period

The Alaska Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research is soliciting proposals
for new and innovative research projects that support the program鈥檚 goals.
Seed grants of up to $30,000 are available to early and mid-career, full-time faculty
members of the University of Alaska system. Faculty members who have not previously
received EPSCoR funding and wish to collaborate are strongly encouraged to apply.
Projects should address themes relevant to goals set by Alaska EPSCoR, a National
Science Foundation-supported program designed to enhance Alaska鈥檚 research capacity
in social-ecological systems science and provide the state鈥檚 communities with tools
and information to respond to changing environments.
