Travel writer, essayist to give free reading

Travel writer and essayist Lawrence Millman will give a free public reading Friday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. in the Wood Center Ballroom on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus.
Millman鈥檚 books include 鈥淟ast Places,鈥 鈥淎 Kayak Full of Ghosts,鈥 and 鈥淟ost in the Arctic.鈥
Millman鈥檚 reading kicks off the 2011-2012 Midnight Sun Visiting Writers Series, sponsored by the UAF English Department.
