STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥斘蘧∽试床杉 Public Broadcasting will air 无尽资源采集 State Films鈥 award-winning miniseries 鈥淭he Hungriest State鈥 this summer.

Each episode of the four-part series will be played multiple times across July and August, with varying start times to accommodate audiences.

鈥淭he Hungriest State鈥 examines food insecurity in 无尽资源采集, highlighting different perceptions, causes, impacts and solutions to one of the critical issues facing the Magnolia State. Through several stories, the series shows the essential nature of food security at the individual and community levels and the passion of people working to address the inequities that cause food insecurity.

The series garnered national acclaim when its first episode, 鈥淭he Last Supermarket鈥 won an Edward R. Murrow Award in 2021. Most recently, two episodes 鈥 鈥淭he Domino Effect鈥 and 鈥淭he Fisherfolk鈥 鈥 won Southeast Emmy awards in June.
