MSU reminds fans of gameday policies, logistics for LSU football weekend, 'SEC Nation'

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擜fter starting the season with two wins at home, 无尽资源采集 State fans are primed for the SEC opener as football hosts the No. 14 LSU Tigers at Davis Wade Stadium on Saturday [Sept. 16], while also welcoming 鈥淪EC Nation.鈥

With an 11 a.m. kickoff for the football matchup on SEC Network, Bulldog fans and campus visitors are urged to be mindful of gameday policies, as well as road closures and changes relating to the game and 鈥淪EC Nation,鈥 airing live from the Junction at 9 a.m. The live football morning show features host Laura Rutledge,听Paul Finebaum,听Roman Harper,听Jordan Rodgers听and听Tim Tebow.听

Fans also are encouraged to be in the Junction Saturday at 8 a.m. for SEC Network鈥檚 Marty Smith and Ryan McGee on the live 鈥淢arty & McGee鈥 show and 鈥淭he Paul Finebaum Show鈥 live on Friday [Sept. 15] at 2 p.m.

In anticipation of 鈥淪EC Nation鈥檚鈥 production requirements, MSU will open the gate on Bully Boulevard鈥攏orth of Cresswell Hall鈥攁nd the gate on Creelman Street鈥攕outh of Montgomery Hall鈥擳hursday [Sept. 14] at 7 a.m. to provide vehicular access to the Bell Island area when Creelman closes in front of Dorman Hall for stage setup.听The gated parking lots in the area of the opened road and President鈥檚 Circle south of Allen Hall will be staffed with Transportation Officers. All other traffic control gates will continue normal operation.

Anyone needing to access Bell Island can do so via Stone Boulevard, Bully Boulevard, President鈥檚 Circle and Tracey Drive.听

Weds., Sept. 13

鈥擳ractors/trailers will be staged in the SEC Nation set area on Creelman Street after 6 p.m.听Due to the setup of SEC Nation, Creelman Street will be closed from Stone Boulevard to Tracy Drive beginning at 6 p.m. today [Sept. 13] and remain closed through the end of the ballgame on Saturday.

Thursday, Sept. 14

鈥擲tudents should use caution changing classes in this area Thursday and Friday.

Friday, Sept. 15

鈥擳he Junction opens at 4 p.m., but patrons will not have access to portions of Creelman Street for unloading tailgating equipment. Please be mindful of the influx on Stone Boulevard as traffic leaves campus at the end of the day and as traffic arrives to drop off tailgating tents.

鈥擝.S. Hood Drive closes at 2 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 16

鈥擯atrons will not have access to portions of Creelman Street for unloading tailgating equipment.

鈥擲huttle service begins at 7 a.m.

鈥擲tone Boulevard closes and Bully鈥檚 Fan Zone opens at 8 a.m.

鈥擲tadium gates open at 8:45 a.m.
