Drew Williams, a Ph.D. candidate in MSU's forest resources program, demonstrates how to plant seedlings to Partnership Middle School students in recognition of Arbor Day [Feb 21.] This year, 225 evergreen trees were planted along the south and west sides of the school, enhancing the building鈥檚 landscape by providing privacy and soil stabilization.聽The university has been a Tree Campus USA as designated by the National Arbor Day Foundation since 2013.
